To NJD: Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Darnell Nurse
To BOS: Pavel Zacha, 2017 NJD 1st Round Pick
With Cory Schneider between the pipes and in his prime, I figured I might as well try and compete now. I get two excellent players who fit exactly the profile I want to give my team, and a good D prospect for a potential star forward and what will hopefully be a late first-rounder.

We have essentially the best defensive forward in the iNHL and an all-star player in P. Bergeron , A obviously top tier first liner centerman in D. Krejci AND a former first overall future star stud defenceman in Darnell Nurse who was just acquired recently in a trade from Edmonton FOR *one* top prospect Zacha and a 2017 1st round pick (2 yrs from now) that could be anywhere from 1 - 30 ? Now, this is based entirely on my own opinion, I do believe its not what I'd expect, I'll wait until the rest of the trade board chimes in and if they don not see a problem with it then neither do I.

There's a couple things going on here from my perspective which makes this deal worth it:
- Cleared about $14 million in cap space which gives me incredible flexibility and allows me to take on anchor contracts for assets from other teams - Zacha may well be the next franchise centre for the Bruins - This trade aligns the "window" of my next generation players - I also have 8 picks in the first 3 rounds of the 2016 draft, which helps more with Zacha's window than Bergeron/Krejci (they are no doubt 1A/1B centres but they are also at or close to 30 years old) - The loss of Nurse is significant but offset by the trade with Philly (where I acquire Provorov)

You're also slightly overrating Darnell Nurse, who IMO doesn't look like a future "star stud defenceman" in this game, but more likely a future steady, all-around presence on a second pairing.

Seems like a lot to give up for an unproven prospect and a 2017 1st rounder. Boston has put themselves in a position to be force 3-4 seasons down the road though. If anyone objects we can take it to a vote but I'm not overly worried about it.

If board is alright with it and especially the big chief is alright with it then as I mentioned earlier, I'm ok with it going thru. I'm not here to play big bad bear fellas! =)

Note: This trade will only be considered 5 hours old at this point as it wasn't actually posted until 5 hours ago.

When you weigh in age and contracts it's fair enough

This is a bad deal for Boston but not worth blocking.

This is a bad deal for Boston but not worth blocking. With the amount of good deals Boston has had lately I don't think anyone minds!
