- Ottawa
After having been a part of the Cizikas trade on trade deadline day, it seems that William Carrier may be on his way right back out of town having been made available via waivers to every team in the NHL. The Senators seem to be interested in keeping hold of Carrier, but his waiver eligibility has made that an unlikely possibility. No one will be more disappointed than his younger brother, Alexandre, who presently plays defense for the Senators AHL affiliate in Binghamton. This move coming so soon after a fairly disappointing trade deadline day only adds to the questions that continue to surround the Ottawa GM. Lawblaw has yet to make himself available for comment.
Generally speaking, excitement remains high in Ottawa. They've continued their positive performances with two recent victories over Calgary and Chicago, both of whom look to be contenders in the West. But after an exciting Summer where GM Lawblaw made some significant moves that drastically changed the outlook for his team, he has made a series of moves that have led to questions for the fan base. If the Sens don't have a successful playoffs (at least winning a round or two), it's possible that Lawblaw will be having some very difficult discussions with ownership.

I'll claim him and hold him ransom. I'm thinking a 3rd would suffice...
