OTT Sends
LW Massimo Rizzo ECHL LD Felix Staf
PHI Sends
NHL RD Jeremy Jacques ECHL C Samuel Lindecratz
Rizzo was my first ever pick and helped us win an iCup so I really hate to see him go. However, this balances the team a bit more and gives the D corps more bite. GL to him except when he plays the Sens! LOL

Confirmed, thank you Kevin for amiable negotiations.
Jérémy Jacques turned out to be a very reliable 2nd pairing D-man during his first full iNHL season, posting the 3rd best plus-minus record in the league and boosting Simon Després to a career high 61 points. However, the offseason addition of fellow Québécois defenseman Loïk Léveillé - whom the Flyers had targeted for their 1st round pick in the 2016 draft before he was selected 17th overall by the Edmonton Oilers - and the unmatched offer sheet to hulking Swede Eric Hjorth, made Jacques redundant on the Philly blueline. On a very team friendly contract for the coming two seasons, he will no doubt improve the Senators defense as they look to climb back to relevance after a disappointing 23/24 campaign.
After a promising rookie season and a stellar 2023 playoff run, former 2nd round pick (2021, 31st overall) Massimo Rizzo found himself treading water together with the rest of the Senators team during 23/24. Despite injuries to key forwards, he failed to claim a bigger role with the reigning Cup champions and production plateaued during his sophomore year. The return of Anthony DuClair and offseason addition of Vladimir Tarasenko would have meant limited opportunities for Rizzo to elevate his game and the Flyers, looking to rebuild with a younger core, seems like a good fit for the Burnaby, BC native.
Lindecrantz is a good prospect who fits the Flyers mould for centers well, however with the plethora of young C in the Flyers system he has found himself in fierce competition with little chance of ever seeing big league ice time with the Bullies. Staf is sent to Philly purely for contract neutrality purposes and will serve as ECHL filler.
There, I made an article out of a trade confirmation post.
