Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I have a query about the trade I did with BUF inhl.boards.net/thread/578/trade-ana-bufA. Florentino appears to still be with Providence Friars in the latest game file today. Can he be sent to the Ducks please or have I missed something? Thanks

He is playing in the NCAA. NHL (iNHL) and NCAA agreements prevent a college eligible player from being signed to a professional contract. To sign Fiorentino, he would have to give up his college rights, which is unlikely but possible. However, bottom line, FHM2 does not allow the signing of college free agents or draft picks during the college season, so unfortunately you'll have to wait until next season.

Ok fair enough thanks for confirming. So will he automatically appear on my roster at the beginning of next season or is the transfer manual, will I have to remind all the mods about this is what I am getting at?

Florentino is not signed to a contract with the Ducks, so you will need to offer him a contract first. This you can do in-game between June 23rd and Aug 31st (in-game dates).

You'll need to sign him to a contract. But he won't be able to join your team until next season. I'd recommend opening negotiations immediately after July 1.

He should appear under "Unsigned Draftee's" under the Team menu at the top of the in-game screen. When July 1st roles around you just right click on him and click offer contract, that option will only be available on July 1st.

That's great Dax thanks. Half the battle is just getting used to the FHM interface being new to it.
