Well I mean, that's going to be an issue no matter what timeline we do, unless it's we're simming one in-game day per real life day. We're always going to have multiple games within a sim.

My concern with too fast a schedule is proper use of goalies. Since I can't pick a game in advance and only have my backup play against a specific team, how do I spread out his 20-25 games?
A lesser concern, but perfectly valid for some, is resting players, dressing certain guys for specific opponents. Not so bad if we're not playing up to 4-5 games at a time

If we do a 5 day schedule. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday. You guys could upload your new file every one of those nights. I sim 3 days every one of those days. Which gives us 15 days per week. Which is only 6 days behind our 3 season schedule. If we don't take any breaks at all then were all good. This would require a teamfile upload every one of those nights BUT only if you want to make any changes. And this way we have no single team playing anymore than 2 games per sim day. And if there are any back to backs that you would like to sub out your goalies for I can do that from my end. I can set up a goalie sub in thread where teams can ask me to change their goalie for this game or that game before I sim forward. How's that?

I actually think the idea of the goalie sub thread is a great idea. Allows us to keep a pretty active schedule, while also ensuring our starting goalie stays fresh.

Also we can have 4 day waivers instead of the usual 1 so that everyone has the chance to claim after every sim period.

This is all new for me, so I'm willing to go with this schedule and see how it goes.

This looks good Dax. And with this schedule if someone misses an export here or there you're no worse off that you would have been. You'll have the same line-up and goalie another couple games. Not the end of the world.
And it does slightly reward the GMs who are active and exporting regularly.

Looks good to me too. Hopefully we have a good group that keeps up with it.
