Hello all GMs,
The excitement about the pending release of FHM3 has been dampened by the revelation that there will be no online mode in the new game.
We do not know if/when online mode will be added back to FHM, and consequently have no choice but to resurrect the FHM2 version of the iNHL until there is an option to move over.
With the recent vote and team movements in mind, we need to agree how to proceed from here. There are three options:
1) Carry on with the 2018/19 season in the existing savefile, without changing teams 2) Restart in 2015 without changing teams 3) Restart in 2015 with new teams
Please cast your vote above.
Thanks The iNHL Exec Board

Hello Fellow GM's:
I'm equally content with either 1 or 3. I voted for #1 simply because #1 seemed to make the most sense, but I'm fine with either 1 or 3. Sad for the horrible news re. the new game, but I'm still all about this league and you dummies. I'll be happy to reconvene after this hiatus.
Rob(OTT) (Presuming we stick with #1)

Bjorn, regarding option 3, does this mean a restart would include latest game and roster updates in FHM2? I'm assuming so, but just wanted to doublecheck. We all know I can be dense at times.....

Robbie said it best. I did choose number one myself as I'm actually pretty curious on how my team will look moving forward. I am open for a full reset with new teams as well should we go that route too.
Sad day for us all in some sense but perhaps moving on with fhm2 online until a patch is implemented for online play or a fhm4 release with it incorporated gives us plenty of time to grow with what we have =)

Vote #1. Don't like the idea of playing another three seasons from square one and then resetting yet again. Would like to get a little further so we actually have prospects develop at some point.

Would option one include those people who swapped teams before we were given the bad news?

Would option one include those people who swapped teams before we were given the bad news? No, you get to keep the team you had before we froze the league. You could still switch teams but must agree on that again.

To be honest, this decision by the development team has greatly reduced my interest in the whole FHM franchise. It just seems like such a bad business decision. Why piss off potential individual customers when you can do it 30 at a time.
I don't understand why they couldn't have left the online functionality as it was in FHM2. Sure we would have been disappointed it wasn't improved, as originally promised, but at least it would have allowed us to enjoy a basic online experience in the new game.
I'm pretty sure these guys must have flunked out of Marketing 101 in college.
I originally voted for option3, but the more I think about it, I don't think it makes sense to reset if we are still using FHM2, so I've switched to option #1.
